What a first day...

So today's picture is of Providence hospital here in Waco. This is where I had an interesting night.

So yesterday was the first day of classes for a lot of high schools, Baylor, and MCC. But not for me. I have things that are keeping my from returning to Baylor and the best thing for me to do is stay out of school and work. So I'm working for my parents, like I've done all summer. But 2 days ago a friend of mine contacted me asking about how much it would cost to get their apartment sprayed for bugs. My dad's charge is $85 but I told them that I would do it for $20. Which they accepted.

So once work was over and I ate dinner with my parent I headed to their place. Its off of 3rd street, just around the corner from my previous apartment. I get there and say hi and spray the place. Well the rest of the roommates came back and a girl came. I was done with what I was there to do so I was just hanging out and meeting people. Well while talking in the upstairs hallway, THE GIRL JUST PASSED OUT!!!

She fainted and slide down the wall and hit her head on the door at the end of the hall. She was out for about 30-45 seconds before she regained consciousness. We called 911 and the fire department and paramedics came out and looked at her. She seemed fine but they recommended that she go to the hospital to get checked out. So we all got in the cars and me and my friend Josh Lyons took her to Providence. We got there around 6:30 and by the time we got out of there it was almost 10:30! We were there forever, but they did an EKG, CAT scan, and blood and urine work. Comes to find out that she has calcification on one of the arteries that lead into the brain from the spinal cord. Since she was standing in the same position for a while and had her knees locked the blood to her brain lessened and she fainted. So after the whole hospital ordeal we all went to Applebee's for dinner and caught up with 2 other friends of mine.

That was soo much fun to meet up with them. We ate and talked for forever. Then when we all were leaving I kept talking with my friend Lucas and by the time I got back to the apartment it was 1am! I was soo tired. I finally got to sleep around 2 and was up getting ready for work at 7:30am. So that was my interesting night. I was glad I could help her but the lack of sleep is a killer. I can't believe I use to go those kind of hours all the time in school. Now I feel like and old man. Tired all the time. But thats life sometimes.

NYC BIATCHES!

Sooooo.... This week is starting to come to an end. I have moved into my new apartment and have unpacked quite a bit but i still have alot to do. Today I had to go work in the field with my dad. We did a HUGE termite job and did a flea spray and yard spray on another house in the afternoon. I also did some needed shopping for shirts and got a hair cut. So I think once I get everything fully packed Ill feel alitte better about everything.

Honestly, though, I am not excited about moving Erin into her new place. Dont get me wrong. I am happy to help my girlfriend into her new place and get to see it, but its just over the past 2 weeks it feels like all ive done is pack, load, move, repack, reload, move and then unpack. Im just tired of moving, thats all. but i will be at her place bright and early ready to go! i love her so much so i have no problem helping her out.

So now I will go to bed and hopefully sleep well b/c last night i laid in bed til about 3am before i finally fell asleep. That sucked with such a hot and hard day at work but ill be alright. Well I hope everyone has a good weekend b/c i know i will!!!! ;)

P.S. The picture for today is a shot of the hotel Erin and I will be staying at in New York. Its the W and its supposed to be super fancy. jealous? you should be!

Day in a Life

Kool picture, huh? I love space and what happens in it. This is a picture of a nebula. I think that these are some of the most beautiful things ever. And they are never the same!! but thats enough rambling about space.

So ive been working today, answering the phones and did some house work. I did laundry, filled the dishwater with dirty dishes, ran the roomba (vacuuming robot), folded clothes, and took out the trash. Nothing exciting really.

I am excited, though, about going to Austin tomorrow. We are suppost to eat Fogo De Chao for dinner tomorrow. Saturday I am going shopping with Erin's family and that night we are going to a minor league baseball game. Im ready to watch a baseball game no matter what league it is. So food and baseball are in my future and any guy would excited about that! :)

Next week will be hell!!!!

Monday - move into new apartment

Tuesday - set up the apartment

Wednesday - a day off, but probably working

Thursday - move Erin into her new apartment

Friday - HELL IS OVER!! and Erin and I go to New York City for vacation!

Im excited about New York but money is what is bothering me. I want to have enough to have fun and eat and stuff but I also have bills to pay and it just seems to be a whole lot. I know everything will probably work out but still im a little worried.

well thats enough ramblings from me, for now.

Holy Crap!

Hey everyone! (even though the only person to really see this will probably be Erin)

So I'm giving this blogging thing a try. Im a little skeptical about it. I am a part of soo many social networks and communication sites that I have a feeling the no one will really read my blog. But if that doesnt turn out that way, i know i will have alot of fun with it.

I would like to do something similar to what my girlfriend does on her blog (btw go check it out!). But what i would like to do is post a neat picture of something kool, unusual, or random. I hope you enjoy the first!
